I can't live without music so when my Creative MP3 player gave up on me after 5 years of service I was really sad. It was a high school graduation gift from my aunt. When I graduated college last year, I kept nagging my mom to buy me an another music player. She didn't give the okay signal back then but early this year she finally gave in. =D 

The name Creative faded already. My old mp3 player really looked messy. Hahha!

Messy...Especially the back side. I lost the battery cover.

I chose Apple's iPod Touch because I love its features like you can use it as a music player, watch videos, put lots of application (with different functions!) and of course it is Wi-Fi ready. Sadly, I didn't foresee that I'll be putting a lot of videos from my Korean entertainment addiction so I already had to delete some of my applications. Yes, I bought the 8 GB one because I really don't want to burden my mom even more for a more expensive gadget but really I'm regretting it now. Haha! I really don't mind having little applications in my iPod Touch because the main reason why I bought this is because I want to listen to MUSIC everywhere I am. =) 

When you take videos using the iPod Touch, it really has a great quality. I took a video during Super Junior's 2nd concert here in the Philippines and the video and sound quality was really good. Too bad I didn't know how to zoom in so the artists were like ants in my video. =D You guys know how? Please do tell me how to zoom in while taking a video. =D I really don't have the knack to thoroughly explore things. Haha!

My favorite application would be the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Do I sound so geeky? No? Okay then. =D Since I also read books and watch Korean series some of the English subs gives you nosebleed especially in historical dramas that uses really deep and ancient words (For instance, I was watching this historical drama called Chuno. The English sub says "harebrained tomfoolery". I don't know those words! =D), I easily just typed in the words and voila! =D My other apps include CNN and BBC World News. =D These three apps will surely not be deleted...oh VLC app too.

Piece of advise. If you are going to buy an iTouch make sure to buy a 32GB memory or higher. Why did you choose your current music player? =) If you own an Apple gadget, what is your fave application? =)

My 2010 was a blast. Best year to date. =)

These made my year:

> Freedom
      - Being single again was one of the best things that happened to me this year. I got to catch up with my life, friends and my hobbies (especially fangirl-ing..LOL).

> College Graduation
      - Need I say more? Haha! 

> Super Junior and KPOP
      - I started listening to KPOP last year but 2010 is just my full force KPOP addiction. XD. Music is universal. 

      - Super Junior. Aigoo. These boys just increased my KPOP addiction. Why do I love SuJu? Well, aside from their oh so freakin' hot looks..I love their songs,  choreography and most especially their BROTHERHOOD. =) My friend and I are going to watch Super Junior's 2nd concert here in the Philippines and since the start of classes last June, both of us really saved (for the concert tix) to the point that we almost didn't have a social life. =))

> B2ST Concert
     - YEAH! B2ST was my very first favorite KPOP group. I was ecstatic when I knew they'd be coming here in the PH. So, I flew to Manila with my cousin to watch their concert. =)

> FIFA World Cup
     - I always thought Football was boring but that changed when I first started watching my very first football match, that was South Korea vs. Greece. =) I also had my vampire days during the WC. I stayed up at dawn just to watch some matches. XD Till now I still read football updates. And ohh, did I mention I love Keisuke Honda? Hahha!

> FIBA World Championships
     - I lovvvee watching basketball but I don't play..I just watch. =)) I have a blog entry about the FIBA WC..you can just read it. =) Oh yes, had my vampire days too. =))

> SS3 Manila fever
     - My friend and I talked about SS3 Manila like it's a week away when it was still like a hundred days plus pa. =)) And now, it's less than 2 months already! Can't wait!

> Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 movie

> All the good things that happened this year. =)

SS3 Manila: The AFTERMATH - My concert experience. Best night of my life.

A lot of Super Junior fans here in the Philippines (including me..) are itching to watch Super Junior perform on Philippine soil....again! I'm blogging about this because I want to show my support for the production company, Pulp Live Productions, who made SS2 last April 2010 possible. I wasn't able to watch SS2 so I'm really determined to watch SS3. Heck, I already have a plane ticket booked for the concert next year!

I started listening to K-Pop summer of 2009. The first idol group that caught my attention while watching Music Bank was B2ST. The song Bad Girl really has a catchy beat. The addiction started there. I watched their MV on Youtube lots of times in a day. Watch the music video of Bad Girl HERE.

B2ST is a South Korean boy group managed by CUBE Entertainment. The members are Doo Joon, Yo Seob, Gi Kwang, Hyun Seung, Jun Hyung, Dong Woon.

B2ST had a concert here in the Philippines last June 19, 2010. Of course, I was there. =D My cousin accompanied me to the concert. I couldn't afford to miss it. They are the first idol group that caught my HEART. =p

Man, this season is so memorable to me. It was my first time that I fell in love --- 'fell in love' is an overstatement you think? LOL. Well, let's just say I was never a fan girl before of any celebrity. Anoop made me a fangirl BIGTIME! I did things I don't usually do especially in watching AI.

Talking about the finale. I was only excited for the finale because I got to see Anoop again! And then we only heard him sang like what 3 lines? Or to sum up all his performances maybe like 10? SUCKS! Lil got a duet with Queen Latifah and she's top 7. Dammit. >:(

On the brighter side, Anoop was smokin' HOT in the finale. Anoop in a suit in their introduction performance for Rod Stewart was smokin' HOOOOTTT! I just didn't like that he wore the OBB jacket again but still he was hot. LOL.

About the winner, well I was never a fan of Kris but I want to commend his humility. I wanted Adam to win! I just don't like Kris' style. Kris has been compared to Jason Mraz and I'm not a fan of Jason Mraz so there you go. =p Why I wanted Adam to win? Duh, if you've read my blog, you'll know. Okay, I can relate to Adam's genre, rock. I've been downloading his studio versions (and those were GREAT!) and I had no problem listening to it. If I'd listen to Kris' studio version, I'd probably fall asleep. LOL!

I just hate people saying "I don't like Adam coz he's gay". That's just SHALLOW.

Adam performing with Kiss and Queen? That was the BOMB! I think Kris was overshadowed by Adam during the Queen performance.

I'm gonna miss this. I hope next AI season I won't get attached to any Idol anymore. Hell, it's tiring espcially emotionally but in Anoop's case, it's all worth it. =)

I will just keep it short and simple. It's too hard for me to rant and it gets me nowhere. Ranting, feeling mad, angry and etc just makes me feel worse. I'm sooo sad, affected, a little bit bitter, and other synonymous feelings about Anoop's elimination. He had three straight very good performance and now he's gone. [mura jd siyag namatay noh? LOL! ] Pero seriously I'm really sad. AI is fixed. How did I know that? Join online forums.

And ohhh, let me just say this, Anoop's scruffy look is soooooo HAWT! w00twave.gif Oh my, he looks sooo manly but I still want the geeky college guy Anoop.wub.gif Wait. I love the two looks. Which is which? *weighing with hands* Scruffy? Geeky? BOTH? Both!

I will definitely buy your album. Gawd, this is my first time. I you Anoop.

I reached my breaking point in surfing the net yesterday. I was bored and I didn't know what to do. How come I didn't thought of band searching. My last band addiction was The Killers and it was so long ago. I mentioned in my previous post that I'm having a One Tree Hill marathon ( can I just say that Peyton is such a biatch! hate her! ). This show features really great bands. Nada Surf, Feeder and Honorary Title to mention a few. I already knew these bands before but was too lazy to research and download their songs and some songs in my mp3 were boring ( so much for boredom this summer) me already. It kinda sucks since my mp3 has this small memory space (256 MB). I also did a little Purevolume-ing. Hehe.

I should make this blog another Anoop blog. LOL. I loved his top 11 performance. His voice is just smooth and sexy with great falcettos. I find this week's performance better than last week. I was really smittened with his "oh baby baby". It's so sexy hearing Anoop sing this song. I kind of hated Matt a lil bit for singing Let's Get It On. That song should have been Anoop's. Okay. I'm calm ---- NOT! Aside from his oh so beautiful voice, he was so handsome, cute, adorable kanina. Gosh. I loved what Simon said to Anoop. Likeable. Easy pick for wild card (he totally deserved it and he should be in the op 12..he was robbed by Micheal sarver!!). Original. Talented.

I'm anxious for his performance tomorrow.

Yesterday, I was really nervous watching the elimination episode of American Idol season 8. My favorite is Anoop. I just love him. He makes my heart melt whenever he sings. I find him cute too! I love his geeky vibe. He was so cute when Ryan asked him how he was feeling and he kept talking and talking (like a nervous geeky cute guy) and Ryan asked him again "Anoop are you nervous or not?" and he said he never felt this nervous in his life and just smiled (so cute!). Those were not the exact words but you got the point.:-P I never rooted for a contestant this much since I started watching AI way back 2003. When Ryan announced that Micheal Sarver was the one included in the top 12 my world collapsed. I was really really sad. Why America?

I am a member of 6 online forums, a lot of them were rooting for Anoop to be included in the top 12. I'm such a fan. I really hope he'll be included in the wildcard. I hope he'll choose the right song. He sang Angel of Mine by Monica and I thought it was great I had this kilig feeling and dreamy face when i was watching him sing.

I found this post in an online forum and it just made me like-- love Anoop more than ever.

What's special about him?
1. His voice-it's sweet, sleek, smooth, his voice can be both sexy and angelic at the same time
2. his groove-
3. the sincerity in his performances-you can tell he connects with the songs he sings
4. his politeness
5. his intelligence-I mean I can tell he's an educated young man with the way he answers
6. his down-to-earth demeanor- seems he's like a regular guy even the way he dresses
7. I also find endearing the special camaraderie that he seems to have with his clef pals.
8. His physical attributes-he's tall, dark and handsome (nice sincere smile, cute dimples).
9. I can go on and on...and I don't really know him...I'm just getting these from impressions I get from his TV appearances, from the youtube videos, from the dedication his friends at UNC has shown.

I was watching the Grammy Awards last Sunday and Blink 182 were one of the presentors. Mark Hoppus said "we used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again,". I thought maybe they were not serious I meant I didn't thought that would really happen. Now they are doing their sixth studio album. They are in the studio writing and recording songs for their new album and they are preparing for a world tour. Maloka ko if they'll stop by here in Pinas.

Paramore - napul an ko but their songs are great it's just their songs don't stay in my MP3 for so long now.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - I saw their new video on MTV, I wasn't so psyched seeing them again.

It all comes down to personal preference. You like the bands I don't like. I like the bands you don't like. Or we both like the same bands.
